CMT ADVANCES ECONOMIC EQUITY FOR YOUNG BLACK BOSTONIANS

The Community Mentoring Team, expanding economic opportunities for young Black Bostonians, today announced that on June 3, 2023, it graduates the Class of 2023 electrician apprentices who have successfully completed a rigorous training program
with Local IBEW 103.

Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation is pleased to announce a $75,000 grant awarded to the Community Mentoring Team (CMT) of Roxbury. 

REPORT: BLACK BOSTONIANS HAVE A MEDIAN NET WORTH OF $8, WHITES HAVE $247K

"The Color of Wealth in Boston," issued by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston reported on the city's alarming wealth gap between Blacks and Whites. Those numbers have not changed since the report was issued in 2015.
